Used 1951 Martin 0-18

This little beauty is a 1951 Martin 0-18. Of course the 18 style Martin package comes with mahogany back and sides, a spruce top, and minimal purflings and other appointments, but it has become the model that countless others are based off of.

Description

The single 0, 14 fret body size is regarded by many to a shining achievement on par with the dreadnought. It’s an extremely comfortable size of course for fingerstyle but also for just strumming on the couch. This particular guitar came to us as so many old martins do, in need of some repair. We reset the neck, and a new saddle made. There was also one crack repaired on the top under the bridge. A few more dings and scratches normal playing wear for a 60 year old Martin, but it plays fantastic now and sounds even better. Not a Museum piece, but a great player’s guitar to be sure. Comes with newer hardshell case.
